Product Description The TEKBOND EVA Hot Melt Adhesive is a 100% solid thermoplastic resin. If the temperature is high enough, these adhesives can be remelted after bonding. The adhesive will liquefy after heating, quickly fill the gap and wet the bonding surface. After they are applied to the surface, they cool, harden and achieve a bond strength in seconds. Hot melt adhesive is suitable for wood bonding, furniture edge sealing. It’s suitable for textile industry, shoe material industry, student supplies industry and also is suitable for the bonding of beech, plywood, pine board, density board, etc. Physical Properties Appearance (Visual): Particles Density, g/cm³: 1.24 ± 0.10 Viscosity (180°C), mPa*s: 15,000 – 30,000 Softening Point, C°: 85 - 100 Tensile Strength after 24 hours, MPa: ≥ 1.0 Elongation at Break after 24 hours, % ≥ 50 Hardness after 24 hours, Shore A 75 - 90 Peeling Strength after 24 hours (Aluminum Alloy/ 180°), N/mm: ≥ 1.0 Properties and benefits ??? Surface must be clean, dry and free from grease and old glue. 2. Recommended temperature, in the summer of 160-170 ???, the winter of 170-180 ???, the final temperature is given priority to with after practical application. 3. Feed speed: 5-20m/min. Do not touch molten adhesive.
4. Glue is not available on cooling wooden shovel eradication, paraffin removal under 120 ???, then finally flush hot melt adhesive. Restrictions on use The TEKBOND EVA Hot Melt Adhesive is not indicated for the following situations: 1. Do not touch the stick when using it; 2. To the painted surfaces, may cause seal failure as the paint cracking or stripping; 3. To the surfaces that with direct touch of food. 4. Will not adhere to some plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene and Teflon. For further information and safe handling of this product, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Available colors and packages Colors: Milky white, Milk yellow, Light yellow, Yellow, Dark yellow, Transparent. Packages: Plastic bag: 10kg, 20kg, 27kg. Different colors and packages are available. Storage and Shelf Life 12 months in unopened packages in a cool and dry storage place at temperatures between +5°C and 27°C, humidity between 30% and 70%. Optimal storage is at the lower half of this temperature range and humidity range. To prevent contamination of unused product, do not return any material to its original container.
