LimitationsArticles molded with Silicone based mold release preparations may not be suitable for post molding operations such as painting, printing, plating, metallizing, gluing etc. Silicone that may transferred to the molded article may prevent adhesion on the coating material to the article. Limitations Silicones make surfaces slippery. Use with caution. Application Afra® Heavy Duty Silicone Spray, Grade 888 is designed for use as Mold Release Agent s for most injection molded plastics, metals, resins, waxes etc. They also rejuvenate rubber, plastic, synthetic leather and vinyl surfaces by hiding scratches and producing a high shine. They find use as a light Lubricant for metal and plastic substrates in several home, medical, food, industrial and automotive applications.
Precaution during storage and useContents are highly flammable. The cans should be kept away from sources of heat and ignition. Do not spray on flame or ignited materials. The Cans are pressurized and should not be punctured, incinerated or exposed to severe damage. This may cause the can to burst violently. Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid excessive inhalation, eye or skin contact. Keep away from children. Store in a cool, dry and ventilated place below 50 ???C. The Cans should be used with in eighteen months from date of manufacture. Most Cans perform normally even after extended storage beyond the ‘best before date’ may affect the contents or the packaging components. Such can may be re-inspected and test run may be conducted to confirm acceptability.Packing & Transport InformationTwenty Four cans are packed in one transport worthy, corrugated carton. UN No. 1950, Class 2.1. Air- Transport (ICAO & IATA): Hazardous Pressurized Container Sea Transport (IMO & IMDG) : UN 1950 Class 2Information on Disposal of used CansAerosol Cans are designed for single use only and are hazardous even when apparently empty. The cans must be completely evacuated by pressing the valve so that negligible gas remains inside and then must be punctured to release the remaining gas vapor. This shall render the can to be non-hazardous and fit for disposal as per local environmental norms
