The material cures on exposure tomoisture in the air to form a tough, flexible, siliconerubber gasket. The product resists aging, weatheringand thermal cycling without hardening, shrinking orcracking. It has good adhesion to substratesaluminium, mild steel, glass, ceramics, corks and manyplastics.The product is used to seal various flanged surfaces anautomotive and general industry. Typical applicationincludes bonding of sensitive electronic components andsub assemblies, Weather sealing of most commonconstruction materials including glass, aluminpainted metal, granite and other stone, concrete, brickand plastics, ceramic tile grouting, sealing aroundshower-tub enclosures, tubs, sinks, urinals etc.

For best performancethe surface with a solvent such as isopropyl alcoholacetone or methyl ethyl ketonecloth.A surface primer is recommended for hard to bondsurfaces, such as some plastics.
