Because it does not flow, this sealant can be applied overhead or on sidewall joints and surfaces without sagging, slumping or running off. Regulation 21 CFR 177.2600 for incidental contact with food. How to Use Estimating For estimating sealant requirements, multiply gallons by 128 fluid ounces and divide by the cartridge size. Example: 11 gallons required x 128 fluid ounces = 1408 divided by a 10.1 fluid ounce cartridge = 139 cartridges required. Application DOWSIL™ 733 Glass & Metal Sealant is supplied in ready-to-use form. It extrudes readily from its container under pressure. The paste like consistency makes it easy to work; a spatula or paddle can be used to tool the surface. Bonding Thoroughly clean and degrease metal and plastic surfaces using a DOWSIL™ OS (ozonesafe) fluid or other suitable solvent. Rubber surfaces should be roughened with sandpaper, then wiped with acetone. Follow precautions given on the solvent container label. Apply DOWSIL™ 733 Glass & Metal Sealant to the prepared surface in a uniform thickness. Then, let the unit stand undisturbed at room temperature to cure. Sealing The use of DOWSIL™ 733 Glass & Metal Sealant in sealing applications follows approximately the same step-by-step procedures outlined for bonding applications. At conditions of at least 25°C (77°F) and 50 percent relative humidity, a tack-free skin forms within 10 to 15 minutes. Tooling should be completed within 5 to 10 minutes of application. Alternate periods of application and tooling may be required. If masking tape is used to mask an area, it must be removed before the tack-free skin forms. Cure Time Cure time is affected by relative humidity, degree of confinement and cross-sectional thickness of the sealant. Sections up to 1/8 inch thick become rubbery solids in about 24 hours at room temperature and 50 percent relative humidity. Less humidity increases cure time slightly. In applications where DOWSIL™ 733 Glass & Metal Sealant may be partially or totally confined during cure, the time required for proper cure is generally lengthened by the degree of confinement. It is possible that with absolute confinement, cure will not be completed. Every application involving confinement during cure should be thoroughly tested before use.

Product Description The Tekbond MS HYBRID It is a one-component adhesive based on hybrid silicone polymer, which can be cured by reacting with moisture in the air and gradually form a high-strength elastomer. It is eco-friendly product, does not contain isocyanates, tin and plasticizer. It has good durability, non-corrosive, UV resistance, water resistance and adheres to a wide range of materials. It shows good mold resistance when be used in the kitchen, bathroom and other areas. It is suit for both interior and exterior. Due to its elasticity and its high adhesion power in several types of materials, the product seals in a differentiated manner with high performance, and can be used in several segments, such as industry, civil construction, metallurgy, automotive, among others. The application surfaces must be cleaned with alcohol or acetone, and shall be dry and firm. Do not use kerosene or gasoline to clean surfaces. 2. If needed, apply crepe tape to protect areas where the product is not desired. 3. Cut the tip of the cartridge and cut the applicator nozzle at a 45° angle in the desired size and thickness. Screw the nozzle into the applicator cartridge and place it on the applicator gun. 4. Apply the silicone on the desired area and do the finishing. 5. IMPORTANT: immediately after applying the silicone, remove the crepe tape before the adhesive forms the film.
6. After use, hold the applicator nozzle in the cartridge and leave a small amount of product above the nozzle to form a cap. When reusing, remove the cap. After opened, reuse the product within two weeks. 7. If the parts are heavy, during the gluing process, we advise the placement of clips or hooks so that there is no movement of the part to be glued until the adhesive is completely dry. 8. The total cure is from 24 hours to 48 hours depending on the weather, amount of adhesive and weight of the parts to be glued. Restrictions on use The Tekbond MS HYBRID is not indicated for the following situations: 1. For all surfaces that remove oil, plasticizers or solvents, such as wood immersed in oil and wet surfaces. 2. For a substrate with a surface temperature above 50??? or apply at temperatures below 5??? 3. For situations such as immersion in water for a long period of time. 4. For surfaces that have direct contact with food. 5. It cannot be used as a structural adhesive. Available packages Colors: White, Grey. Packages: 280ML cartridges. Fasto S860 is a one part, all weather, neutral cure, non- corrosive RTV Silicone sealant. Being non-corrosive, it does not corrode metal and protect surfaces. It has good resistance to weathering, UV Radiation, moisture, ozone, air borne pollutants, temperature extremes, cleaning detergents, etc. It can be used for sealing, bonding and glazing applications. Hot strength Fasto S860 is suitable for use at temperatures up to 150°C. At 130°C the bond strength will be ~65% of the strength of at 21°C. Heat ageing Fasto S860 retains over 96% mass and hardness when heated to 150°C for 10 days then cooled and tested at 23°C. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Remove all the rust, scale, dirt, dust, grease, oil, release agents, or other contaminants from the surfaces to be bond or seal. Surfaces can also be cleaned using suitable Fasto cleaner. Apply Fasto S860 with suitable dispensing equipment. Assemble the surfaces immediately in order to avoid skin over. Apply S860 in sufficient quantity and wipe out the excessive quantity. For construction joints, before applying Fasto S860, clean the surface and ensure that surfaces to be seal should be free from oil, dirt & other contaminants and should be sound. For sealing large joints, use backer rod or bond breaker tape. Also use masking tape to ensure aesthetically clean & neat joints. Always remove masking tape after tooling and before skinning of sealant. LIMITATIONS Fasto S860 should not be used •When surface temperatures exceed 50°C (122°F) •On surfaces that are continuously immersed in water • On building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, green or partially vulcanized rubber gaskets or tapes • On frost-laden or wet surfaces .• In totally confined joints (the sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure) • If the sealant is intended to be painted (paints do not typically adhere to most silicone sealants) GENERAL INFORMATION SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Avoid breathing of vapors. Forced local exhaust is recommended to effectively minimize exposure. NIOSH approved, organic vapor respirators and forced exhaust are recommended in confined areas, or when conditions (such as sanding, etc) may cause high vapor concentrations. For safe handling of this product consult the Material Safety Data Sheet. Storage Optimal storage conditions are between 13°C and 25°C.
