Method of use Substrates must be totally free from acidic impurities or else the cyanoacrylate adhesive will not cure instantaneously. Only a very small quantity of adhesive is to be applied to achieve fastest cure and higher bond strength. Since the curing mechanism is initiated by moisture present in the atmosphere, the humidity will play a vital role during curing. Optimum bonding conditions are achieved when the relative humidity is between 40% and 60%. Cured speed Vs Different Substrates Curing performance There are many factors that can influence the rate of cure of cyanoacrylate adhesive. Chemical / Solvent Resistance Fasto 701 exhibit excellent chemical resistance to most oils and solvents including motor oil, leaded petrol. used to bond close fitting parts or components. The bonding is effective due to the wicking
ability of the product.

APPLICATION AREA: FEVIKWIK 700 is suitable for bonding plastics, metal and rubber
components. It can be also used to lock components which are already assembled. It has

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
For best results, please ensure that surface is dry & free from moisture, dust, dirt, rust,
grease & oil, etc. Surface should be degreased and abraded by using suitable emery paper.
Apply FEVIKWIK 700 on the surface of one adherent in a thin film or drop and spread
uniformly. Quickly bond the surface of other adherent and hold firmly for few seconds until the
parts achieve sufficient handling strength. After work is over immediately close the bottle.

processing surface preparation: the adherents must be thoroughly degreased with a good degreasing solvent(e. G. Toluene, acetone trichloroethylene). Abraded with coarse emery paper or chemically etchedmetal surface shows an excellent strength. Inadequately pre-treated substrates may not bondsatisfactorily. Application:apply the adhesive sparingly to one surface (usually one drop is sufficient), bring the componentstogether quickly and correctly aligned. Apply sufficient pressure to ensure the adhesive spreads into a thin film. Do not disturb or re-align until curing is achieved. Any surplus adhesive can be removed with cleaner. For difficult or porous surfaces activator is recommended. If bonding to polypropylene, polyethylene,ptfe or silicone surface, then prime surface first with polyolefin primer. Packaging lapox ultrafast is available in 20 ml hdpe bottles. Other packing may be considered on request. Storage and handling lapox ultrafast should be stored in a cool and dry place, preferably in a sealed container and shouldnot be exposed to direct sunlight. This product has a shelf life of nine months, if stored in its originalcontainer between 20°c and 22°c away from humidity and excessive heat. The shelf life depends onthe storage temperature. Containers should be tightly sealed when not in use. When removing anadhesive container from the refrigerator, allow the adhesive to reach room temperature before using it.

Instant adhesives cure very quickly when confined between surfaces. Surface humidity on the substrates triggers the cure reaction which moves from the substrate surfaces towards the middle of the adhesive joint. Instant Adhesives are chosen for bonding small parts to achieve extremely fast fixturing. Due to their limited gap filling capacity they require close fitting surfaces. The adhesion to most substrates is excellent and the bonding strength in shear and tensile mode is very good.
