One-component, acid-curing, low-modulus silicone sealant for glazing and industrial applications. Uses:

Limitations:

• Not recommended for use on masonry surface or for structural glazing applications, zinc/brass/copper/lead, total water immersion where sealant required painting or application required architectural sealant.
• An odour of vinegar will be noticeable whilst sealant is curing, however once cured this odour will disappear.

Application:

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Remove all the rust, scale, dirt, dust, grease, oil,
release agents, or other contaminants from the
surfaces to be bond or seal. Surfaces can also be
cleaned using suitable Fasto cleaner. Apply Fasto S950.with suitable dispensing equipment. Assemble the
surfaces immediately in order to avoid skin over.
Apply S950 in sufficient quantity and wipe out the
excessive quantity.
For construction joints, before applying Fasto S950,
clean the surface and ensure that surfaces to be seal
should be free from oil, dirt & other contaminants and
should be sound. For sealing large joints use backer rod
or bond breaker tape to be used. Also use masking
tape to ensure aesthetically clean & neat joints. Always
remove masking tape after tooling and before skinning
of sealant.
GENERAL INFORMATION
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Avoid breathing of vapors. Forced local exhaust is
recommended to effectively minimize exposure. NIOSH
approved, organic vapor respirators and forced exhaust
are recommended in confined areas, or when
conditions (such as sanding, etc) may cause high vapor
concentrations.

Storage
Optimal storage conditions are between 13°C and
30°C. Storage outside this temperature range can
adversely affect product properties and may affect the
stated shelf life.

Processing Pretreatment The strength and durability of a bonded joint are dependent on proper treatment of the surfaces to be bonded. At the very least, joint surfaces should be cleaned with a good degreasing agent such as acetone, iso-propanol or other proprietary degreasing agent in order to remove all traces of oil, grease and dirt. Low grade alcohol, gasoline (petrol) or paint thinners should never be used. The strongest and most durable joints are obtained by either mechanically abrading or chemically etching (“pickling”) the degreased surfaces. INSTRUCTIONS  Each can have two special plastic nozzles for spraying to the wall and roof. Nozzle A is for vertical surface applications and Nozzle B is for roof applications.  Optimal can temperature is +20 °C.  Application temperature is in between +5 °C and +30 °C.  Shake the can well before use.
 Screw the can onto an applicator gun. Put the spray nozzle on the barrel until it clicks.  Always keep the can upside down during application.  The output of the foam can be regulated with the trigger and controlled with the adjustment screw on the back side of the gun.  Spray the foam 30-45 cm distance from the wall for vertical applications. Spray the foam 15-20 cm distance from the ceiling for horizontal applications.  The product can be applied at any desired thickness as long as it is applied layer by layer. The thicker, the higher insulation value.  For an effective insulation value, the recommended application thickness is 5cm and should be reached to this thickness with minimum 3 layers. It is not possible to get the ideal insulation value with 1 or 2 layers.  The nozzles and the applicator gun should be cleaned immediately after job finishes. Processing Pretreatment The strength and durability of a bonded joint are dependant on proper treatment of the surfaces to be bonded. At the very least, joint surfaces should be cleaned with a good degreasing agent such as acetone, iso-propanol (for plastics) or other proprietary degreasing agents in order to remove all traces of oil, grease and dirt. Low grade alcohol, gasoline (petrol) or paint thinners should never be used. The strongest and most durable joints are obtained by either mechanically abrading or chemically etching (“pickling”) the degreased surfaces. Abrading should be followed by a second degreasing treatment. Clean the surface to ensure that it clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, oil, loose particles, or any other contaminants. 2. Cut the Cartridge, insert it in cartridge gun and fix V-cut nozzle. 3. Apply in threading pattern (zig – zag) with approx.11-inch distance between each strip. Bring surfaces in to position as quickly as possible and press firmly for 2-3 minutes. Parts can be re-adjusted within 6- 8 minutes depending upon the temperature. 4. It is recommended to keep gap of 35 mm at all side of edge - corner to avoid any excess glue Ooze out and to control any Visible gap. 5. For putting heavier weights such as glass or marble shelf on wall mounted ‘C’ clamps or brackets, allow the adhesive to cure overnight before putting the shelves in place. 6. Seal the nozzle with help of a tape. Cut the nozzle tip to remove cured sealant before next use. 7. Wash hands with soap & water after product use. Remove all the rust, scale, dirt, dust, grease, oil, release agents, or other contaminants from the surfaces to be bond or seal. Surfaces can also be cleaned using suitable Fasto cleaner. Apply Fasto S960 with suitable dispensing equipment. Assemble the mated surfaces immediately in order to avoid skin over. Apply S960 in sufficient quantity and wipe out the excessive quantity.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Avoid breathing of vapors. Forced local exhaust is recommended to effectively minimize exposure. NIOSH approved, organic vapor respirators and forced exhaust are recommended in confined areas, or when conditions (such as sanding, etc) may cause high vapor concentrations.

Storage
Optimal storage conditions are between 8°C and 25°C. Storage outside this temperature range can adversely affect product properties and may affect the stated shelf life.

This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as a sealant against chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials

Uses:

• For bonding & sealing glass, windows & doors, aluminium, ceramic, fibreglass and non-oily wood.
• Limitations: Not recommended for use on masonry surface or for structural glazing applications, zindbrass/copper/lead, total water immersion where sealant required painting or application required architectural sealant.
• An odour of vinegar will be noticeable whilst sealant is curing, however once cured this odour will disappear.

Application:

• Surface to be bonded should be clean, dry, sound and free from dust or old sealant. If required, surface can be cleaned prior to application using appropriate cleaner.
• Mask adjacent surface with a protective tape for a neat finish and easy clean-up.
• Carefully cut the tip of the cartridge taking care not to damage the threaded area.
• Screw on the nozzle supplied and cut to an angle of approximately 45°C, to an opening slightly larger than the gap to be filled.
• Apply using a standard sealant gun.
• Extrude the sealant in to the joint filling the cavity completely.
