Product DescriptionAnabond 610 is a single component dimethacrylateester based fast curing medium strength anaerobicadhesive system specially designed for gasketing andsealing of close fitting joints between rigid metalsurfaces and flanges. The product gets polymerizedwhen confined between close fitting metal surfaces inthe absence of air and provides resistance to lowpressure immediately after assembly of flanges. Theproduct exhibits good temperature and chemicalresistance. Typical applications include gear box andengine casings, etc.Properties of uncured materialCuring performanceThe product cures when confined in the absence of airbetween closed fitting metal surfaces. The curing timeis influenced by the gap between the surfaces, the kindof metal, surface treatments and temperature. Theassembly can be subjected to limited test afterfunctional cure. Although functional cure is developed ina relatively short time, curing continues for at least 24hours before full properties are developed. Curingtested according to ATM*-R031 (ISO 10964).Operating ParametersProperties of cured materialCured for 24 hours at 30±2 °C, tested according toATM-R031 (ISO 10964).Pressure resistanceThe sealant has the ability to resist low immediate afterassembly of flanges while uncured. The test wasperformed according to ATM-R034 (JIS K6820).Chemical resistanceLap shear strength, MS-MS, cured for 24 hours at 30±2°C.Aged under conditions indicated and tested according toATM-R022 (ASTM D1002/ISO 4597) at 30 ± 2°C.General informationBefore handling read product safety data sheet andcontainer label for safe use. This product is not recommended for use in pureoxygen or oxygen rich systems and not be selected asa sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materialsChemicals% of initial strength168h 500hMotor oil 20W40,125???C80W14085W140100100100989999Gasoline, 25???C 100 95Water/Glycol, 50/50, 87???C 50 48MS flange - Immediate afterassembly at 30±2 °CMPa(kg/cm2)12(120)Breakaway torque,M10 steel bolts and nutsN·m(kgf·m)8 – 12(0.8 - 1.2)Prevailing torque,M10 steel bolts and nutsN·m(kgf·m)9 – 13(0.9 – 1.3)Maximum gap filling mm 0.50Cured state Semi RigidService temperature ???C -40 to +180Handling cure at 30 ± 2°C, minM10 Steel bolts and nuts 10 – 15Functional cure at 30 ± 2°C, h 12Full cure at 30 ± 2°C, h 24Specific Gravity at 30°C,ATM-R004 *(JIS K6820)1.0 – 1.1Viscosity at 30°C, PasteFlash point refer MSDSChemical Type Dimethacrylate esterAppearance Smooth PasteCure AnaerobicApplication Gasketing & SealingStrength MediumColour RedAnabondAnabond®610Technical Data SheetRevised Feb 2015Revision no. : 01*ATM – Anabond Test Method, JIS : Japanese industrial standard, ISO – International Organization for StandardizationPage 2 of 3To prevent the product from clogging in the nozzle, donot allow the tip to touch the metal surfaces duringapplication.Do not return the used product back to the originalcontainer as it may be contaminated during usage.Where aqueous washing systems are used to clean thesurfaces before bonding, it is important to check thecompatibility of the washing solution with the adhesive. In some cases these aqueous washes can affect thecure and performance of the adhesiveThe product is not normally recommended for use onplastics, particularly thermoplastic materials wherestress cracking of plastic could result. Users arerecommended to check the compatibility of the productwith such substrates.Directions for useSubstrate preparationAll surfaces must be clean and dryFor best results bond surface should be clean and freefrom grease.Method of applicationThe product is designed for closed fitting flanged parts.Apply manually as a continuous bead to one surface ofthe flanges.

Technology Solvent based Chemical Type Rubber Appearance Thick Flowing Liquid Colour Grey Viscosity@25°C,cps Medium Application SealingAnabond 696 is a polychloroprene rubber basedsolvent containing sealant / adhesive system capable of bonding different substrates such as glass, painted metals, vulcanized poly chloroprene rubber, poly propylene, Leather, Rexin etc. This adhesive / sealant system develops a high degree of handling strength immediately after bonding and the joint strength increases further with more curing time.Because of higher bond strength developedimmediately after mating the substrates, the assembled components can undergo further operation without clamping or fixing. The chemical and moisture resistance of this adhesive / sealant systems is generally sufficient to permit use in any exterior or interior application in the building and construction, automotive and footwear industries. This Product is not recommended for use in pureoxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials. Directions for Use 1. For high strength structural bonds, remove surface contaminants such as paint, oxide films, oils, dust, mold release agents etc. 2. Use gloves to minimize skin contact. DO NOT use solvents for cleaning hands3. For maximum bond strength apply adhesiveevenly to both surfaces to be joined. 4. Keep parts from moving during cure, contact pressure is necessary. 5. 5. For a permanent bond apply a medium coat to both surfaces. Allow to dry 1-2 minutes before bonding together. For porous surfaces, bond them while they are slightly wet. 6. Excessive uncured adhesive can be cleaned up with Ketone type solvents.
